ShelfReserve
DRAFT — v0.1.0-p6-draftThese pages carry Devin’s integrated draft text. They still contain [FILL IN] placeholders (mailing address, support email, DMCA email, phone, governing-law state, effective date) and have not yet been reviewed by qualified counsel. Treat them as an operational reference, not a final binding document. Live launch text ships as version v1-YYYY-MM once counsel signs off and the DMCA agent is registered.

1. Who we are

ShelfReserve is a video-production tool operated by Beyond Limitz Productions (“we”, “our”, “us”). This notice explains what personal information we collect from you when you use ShelfReserve, how we use it, and the rights you have.

We operate ShelfReserve from the United States and it is intended for United States users. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and consent to your information being processed in the U.S.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that ShelfReserve actually needs to function.

When you create or use a ShelfReserve account:

  • Your email address (required for delivery of finished videos and account communication).
  • The venue name / handle you use inside ShelfReserve.
  • License-code activation details (which code you redeemed, when, from what IP address — used for anti-abuse only).

When you use ShelfReserve to make a reel:

  • The video clips, images, and audio you upload.
  • Metadata you enter about a reel (title, desired length, style parameters).
  • Records of your render requests (how many you have made, when, against which reel).

Automatically collected:

  • IP address and browser type of requests to our servers (used only for rate limiting, security, and error diagnosis).
  • Timestamps of API calls (for the same purposes).
  • Standard server logs (kept for 30 days, then deleted).

We do not knowingly collect:

  • Payment card data (we do not currently process payments in-app).
  • Location beyond IP-derived country/region.
  • Data from users under 18. See §7.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only to:

  • Deliver the ShelfReserve service you asked for (render your reel, email you the result).
  • Enforce your daily render quota and rate limits so a small number of users cannot degrade the service for everyone.
  • Detect and prevent abuse (brute-forced license codes, spam uploads, service abuse).
  • Send you transactional email about your ShelfReserve activity (render complete, quota status, account issues). We do not send marketing email from ShelfReserve at this time.
  • Diagnose bugs and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not build advertising profiles from it. We do not use your uploaded video content to train AI models.

4. Third-party services we rely on

ShelfReserve is built on top of infrastructure and services provided by other companies. Using ShelfReserve necessarily means your data is processed by them under their own terms:

We do not share your personal information with any third party for their own purposes. All third-party processors operate under contractual terms restricting them to processing your data on our behalf.

5. How long we keep your information

  • Uploaded video clips + rendered reels: kept in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Deletion is permanent.
  • Account information (email, license code activation, quota history): kept while your account exists, plus up to 90 days after deletion for anti-abuse and dispute purposes.
  • Server logs / IP addresses in logs: 30 days.
  • Rate-limit records: rolling window (usually 24 hours or less).

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access the information we have about you.
  • Delete a specific reel or asset from within your account.
  • Delete your entire account (contact us; §10).
  • Ask us what data we have about you.

We will respond to any of the above within 30 days.

We do not currently sell personal information. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA — contact us to exercise them.

7. Users under 18

ShelfReserve is intended only for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe we have information from a minor, please contact us at §10.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted-at-rest storage, secret redaction in logs, rate limiting, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we make no guarantee that our measures are sufficient against every possible attack.

If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of learning about it.

9. Changes to this notice

If we materially change this notice, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, notify existing users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
